Founders Wilson and Suzanne McOrist began developing the concept in 1996 after selling their previous franchise, Express Bookkeeping, which had grown to over 200 locations in Australia and New Zealand . Computer Troubleshooters USA was formed in 1999 by Chip Reaves, who had previously built his own computer service business (CHIPTECH Computer Services) into one of the largest small business computer service firms in Georgia.

Launched in 1999, Computer Troubleshooters now has more than 460 franchises worldwide, including more than 240 in the United States and Canada and the remainder spanning 21 countries, including Egypt, Greece, Romania, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Kuwait, Spain and Australia, where the company was founded by Wilson and Suzanne McOrist.

 

Computer Troubleshooters USA was named the top tech support business franchise company in 2005 by Entrepreneur magazine in its annual Franchise 500 rankings.

You will meet Lonnie Carpenter the President of the Company and he is a very hands on person with the day to day operation. Lonnie has over 12 years of computer experience and holds an AOS in Computer Systems & Network Technologies, along with MCP, A+ and Network+ certifications.

Lonnie is backed up by a group of people who have over 25 years of experience in management and are currently running another very lucrative business and has high hopes for Computer Troubleshooters.
